That may seem like an odd title but our company and our homes are in Florida and we just weathered Hurricane Irma. Lots of trees down in our area and no power mostly but we are safe and sound, so that’s a blessing.
Hurricanes come and go. Hopefully go more than come. We hope that everyone in the path of Irma is doing OK.
The one thing you will have all your life is your skin. So it is in your best interest to take good care of it. When I was young, we knew nothing about skin cancer and so I, like my friends, tried putting baby oil on my skin and sitting in the sun. At least I put oil on my skin. I think the reason why we did that was to fry a bit. Sounds awful, doesn’t it?
However, have a nice tan looked really good on our teenage skin and when you’re young, you don’t really worry about what happens as you get older. The only real skin problem I think young people worry about is acne and that’s understandable. I also think that we thought that the sun would help with breakouts. Maybe it did.
My point is that you are never too young to start taking care of your skin and that means reading labels of your skincare products and ensuring you are using the best products to cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin.
It used to be that if you wanted high quality products, you had to pay a fortune for them at high end cosmetic counters in department stores but that isn’t the case anymore. You can get quite a nice selection of natural and organic products for your skin at affordable prices.
